They’ve officially brought brewing back to Bulimba (the early Brisbane brewery Eagle Brewing was founded in the 1880s at Bulimba Reach) and their beer is a testament to that.

Brisbane craft brewery Helios Brewing is 100% independent and locally owned, meaning that with every takeaway you purchase, your money is going to a local business. Not only that, but they make a mean drop. With classic IPA’s and pale ales, as well as options like chocolate stout on offer, their beers are some of the best in Brisbane. Another Yeerongpilly local, Slipstream Brewing Co are an independent brewery and cellar door. After opening in 2017, they’ve become known for their delicious selection of beer and being big supporters of their local community. With options like their XPA, Pilsner, American Red Ale, and Rye Pale Ale, they’ve got some traditional favourites as well as something a little bit different.
